Whatever in life that may come along, we can handle because Christ is here by our sides 24/7. That is so awesome to know. It’s so amazing that He does all these awesome things for us although we are not even close to being worthy. We sin so much. Sometimes we don’t even notice, but we still do it every day. We need to watch out because the devil snatches them up and runs with them. He waits for us to make another mistake because he loves sin. He wants us to sin as much as possible. The more we sin the happier he is. Do you want him to be happy? NO!!! We want the Lord to be happy. Do everything in your power to make the Lord happy and not the devil! We don’t want him to prevail in our kingdom. Let’s put our armor of the Lord on and fight with all our might!!

Umm... I have a lot to say about 3dyc, but I'm not gonna talk about it tonight cuz I don't wanna talk about too many different things in one entry so I will cover it in my next entry, however I will post my notes from 3dyc for now. I will talk to you about that later.

This is for you girl!! I know that life can be hard sometimes, but we just gotta keep our faith. I want you to know that if you need to talk I’m here for you girl! I love you more than you will ever know. I want you to be happy! I invite you to come to church with me. I will personally come to your house and pick you up if there is no other way for you to go. I know that you are struggling in your spiritual life, but sometimes you gotta look outside of the box. Don’t try so hard girl!! My favorite saying is a lil bit of faith gets ya a long way. I say it to everyone and anyone including people I don’t know. Sometimes ya just gotta talk that leap of faith. My heart cries out for you. I know that something is tearing you up inside. I can see it in your eyes. Something is bothering you, but I don’t like to get into other peoples business unless they want to bring me into it, so if ya need to talk… I am here. Love ya lots girl!

Body Piercing

There are many types including...

 
plus many many more... we won't go there...

The Bible warns us against cuttings in our flesh in Leviticus 19:28 which says, "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord."

The Lord admonishes us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."

If we are to glorify God in our bodies, how do body piercings glorify Christ?

This is a question we must ask ourselves. What do we believe this means? Does it mean no you shouldn't have piercing or does it mean its okay as long as you glorify the name of the Lord. The answer is within you. As long as you personally have a reason to justify your piercing according to this verse without twisting it, it is okay to have a piercing. Example: pierced ears- you wear crosses to tell everyone that you are a Christian and that you believe the Lord died on the cross for you. The answer is so easy. It is what you and your denomination believe this verse translates to/ means.

Although I believe that there is nothing wrong with getting a body piercing as long as there is a reason behind it in pleasing the Lord, you can go too far with it. Like in this cartoon...

I hope this helped anyone with the question of body piercings.

This is my first entry on WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT...? I will hopefully get better at explaining things in writing. It is so much easier to explain things in person, but sometimes you have to go through the difficult things to get to the good stuff... Wow its getting late. I better get to bed.
